Birthday Time

Well this past week our sweet Brooklyn turned 5 and wanted a Fancy Nancy party. We had lots of fun getting "Fancy", frosting cookies, eating candy from the Pinata, eating cake and parfaits and of course the presents. Also my Mr. Incredible turned 30! We went shopping for some clothes and shoes and also went to watch the Jazz game at Iggy's with Joshie and Mandy. It's been a good week!

Happenings

Brooklyn got her ears pierced today and I just wanted to share a picture of this happy day for her. I was also looking through my pictures and found some of our time in Sacramento with Jeremy and Talli.

My Dear Ones.

I was reading the B of M today and with all that is going on in the world, I gained alot of comfort in Alma 53 the whole section and Alma 58:39-41. Now is the time we have prepared for, to let our faith shine. Our new stake president and life long friend, Greg Ollis ( he is awesome by the way) reminded us that the pilot who saved all those peoples lives on the Hudson river, had prepared his whole life for the time he would have to deliver those most important words to his entire stewardship of passengers, when he warned "brace for impact". Hopefully we have been and are still preparing that the impacts, in our lives, will be not just bearable but make us stronger and better for the experience. Also that many impacts we feel will be positive and of overwhelming joy. I love you all so much. I hope you will humor me with this little spiritual thought, they usually come to me at about 3-5 am. You are the core of my hearts feelings and I pray for all of you continually.

Sleepover and Bikeriding

Kinslee spent the night here last week and they had fun playing outside in the snow with food coloring. I bought 4 spray water bottles and filled them up with water and food coloring and let them go nuts outside spraying it in the snow. They also had fun dressing up and playing with games.
Brooklyn also has been wanting to ride her bike a lot this week, we have gone on 3 bike rides so far. We went on a family bike ride to our neighbors house to feed the horses carrots for our FHE activity on Monday. Brooklyn wants to get her ears pierced so I was wondering where a good place to go is, if anyone has some ideas just let me know. :)
Jer and Talli I'm glad that you're finally in your house and I can't wait to come see it! I hope everyone else is having a good week. Love you

Well, I for one am happy last week is over. I got the stomach flu, Gav and I and now Burg is threatening. SICK but so much better. Bampa took such good care of me. Jeff , Janet and Brooklyn have all been congested. It sounds like Jer and Talli are having a really busy week. I wish we were closer and could be more help. Jer told me last night 1/25 that Macie is trying to get sick again. Get better baby and hold on everybody spring is coming. Tough time of year but we are so excited for you guys tohave your new home. We had birthday dinner for Kinslee and Grandma Poulsen last night, Kins is 4 today, Grandma is 82. We got a real ice storm last night, Ihaven't been out but it looks cold. Keep you hearts warm. I love you all.
